Hansel and Gretel have just woken up alone in the forest. They have their parents’ home, to try and fend for themselves and find food. They are starving and desperate for food. Thanks to the magic of a strange old lady, the twins have been dreaming about a house made of bread. They are disappointed to realize that it was just a dream but, before they can become too disheartened, a mysterious bird appears.
