Context
Geoffrey Duncan is singing and dancing in his underwear through Sara Goode’s living room. Sara’s sister Pfeni (Geoffrey’s sometimes girlfriend) scolds him, but Geoffrey’s charm is infectious and she dances with him. But Geoffrey and Pfeni also know that they have to talk about their future together--they are getting older, and at some point must decide if they will create a life together.

Start:
PFENI: Geoffrey, it’s six o’clock in the morning.
GEOFFREY: My darling, they’ll never pick us for the ice follies if you don’t practice. How can anyone be disparaging about American culture when you produced the Temptations, The Miracles, and the Four Tops?
[... … …]
End:
GEOFFREY: … And the rest, the children, the country kitchen, the domestic bliss, we leave to others who will have different regrets. Pfeni, you and I can’t idle time.
PFENI: I love you, Geoffrey. I’m not going to travel anymore. I want to stay with you.
