Context
It is Todd’s birthday and he is cooking the ‘dream dinner’ for himself and his girlfriend, Kali. She has bought champagne and is determined that he will have the perfect day. However, when an answerphone message from Todd’s parents interrupts their meal preparation, familiar tensions and insecurities bubble to the surface.
