Context
Annelle is the new girl in town and she has come to do a trial run at the local hairdressers. She is nervous and does not do her best job but, given that there is no-one else, owner Truvy takes her on. Truvy begins to explain her philosophy towards beauty and the ladies in the small town. As Truvy talks, a gunshot is heard but she does not flinch. Apparently it's normal!
