8 Minutes Left

The world is ending in eight minutes. What do you do? What do you say? Who do you want to be with? These questions are no longer hypothetical for the residents of the working-class Charlesville, New Jersey.

In a series of short scenes, siblings, best friends, couples, and even a man and his dog try to make the most of their precious few minutes left. None of them has had any time to prepare or process, lending the play a poignant urgency. Casting is flexible; the play can be performed with five to 22 actors with a minimal set.
