Synopsis

As a 16-year-old who looks 60, Kimberly Levaco’s life is anything but ordinary. Born with a rare genetic condition that makes her age four times the speed of everyone else, Kimberly is dealing with all the typical teen angst on top of a well-meaning drunk dad, a narcissistic pregnant mother, and an aunt who’s prone to crime sprees - all while living on borrowed time. When Aunt Debra drums up a get-rich-quick scheme, Kimberly and her friends decide to join in on the plan in hopes of making the most of their lives. A teen comedy, heist plot, and surprising love story rolled into one musical journey makes Kimberly Akimbo unlike any other musical.

Winning 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Kimberly Akimbo is a fantastically heartwarming story with an incredible score from Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Shrek, Thoroughly Modern Millie), and book/lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire.
