Overview

Synopsis

A pair of sisters come to blows on a trip to meet the woman who gave birth to one of them.

It is less than a year since their mother died and now sisters, Nina and Maya, have traveled to New York City to meet Maya's birth mother. They have had a roller coaster of a year, with their father re-marrying 6 months after they lost their mom, and Nina is keen to support her big sister. However, she is upset when Maya wants to leave her out of the biggest moment of their trip. As Maya questions Nina's real motivations behind wanting to meet her birth mother so soon after their mom's death, Maya reveals that their mom encouraged Maya to contact her birth mother. Maya has organized the meeting on her own terms, and is not as exposed or vulnerable as Nina feared.
