Overview
Synopsis
A husband and wife, Matthew and Lisa, rehearse a play for a British director, Adrian. Adrian seduces Lisa right under Matthew’s nose, but Matthew does not want to admit the truth to himself. Eventually, Adrian’s wife, Cory arrives, revealing Adrian to be a womanizer simply seeking another conquest in Lisa. They all separate, though Matthew and Lisa reunite years later, each telling the other how they have been thinking about each other ever since. The story is told by Matthew to Frank, his therapist, though the entire first half is actually how Matthew wishes everything would have unfolded. In the second act, Matthew tells the truth of everything to Frank.
