A contemporary comedy about life, death and dealing with loss. When his mother passes away, struggling African-American actor, Gil, rejects the ordinary rituals of grief. Instead of purchasing an expensive casket with money he doesn't have, he opts for cremation. Then, to the horror of his Aunt Glo, Gil refused to organize a funeral at a church. Instead, he takes his mother's ashes and embarks on a road trip to her favorite place on earth, Disney World.
