
Overview
Synopsis
The play is a biting satire about sexual morality. The story revolves around an unhappily married couple, Alice and David. David is about to embark on an affair with Alice's best friend, Marion, but he is an honorable man and refuses to consummate it. David and Marion try to hide the affair from Alice. Unknown to them, Alice already knows and is trying to encourage the affair because she knows her marriage to David is an unhappy one.
