Overview

Synopsis

Nineteen years after Harry Potter left Hogwarts School for Magic, the famous wizard is now a hard-working employee of the Ministry for Magic and father to three teenaged children. However, his younger son, Albus, struggles with the responsibility and weight of being Harry Potter’s son. Magic and making friends do not come naturally to him and he finds himself miserable at his new school, Hogwarts. Clinging onto his one friend, Scorpius Malfoy, Albus retreats further into himself and further away from his father, and Harry finds himself having to grapple with a dark past that he hoped had disappeared forever. Together with his wife, Ginny, and family, Ron and Hermione Granger-Weasley, he must try to rescue his impressionable son from the increasingly dark path he is following. As past and present begin to mingle with disastrous effects, both Harry and Albus must learn that darkness does not always come from the places expected most. Their story continues in Part Two.
