Gary Benson

A semi-retired, young-at-heart type who grew up listening to Sinatra, Martin, Davis Jr, Manilow, and all the other crooner type singers. I always thought I could carry a tune in their style, but never had the guidance to pursue what was basically a secret hobby. It was not until 2021 while working on a bathroom remodel that a gifted musician heard me singing along with the radio, and put me on a local high-school stage with 13 Sinatra/Martin songs. It is my hope to get a Nelson Riddle or a Count Basie type of band to back me while I still have a voice.
