Award-winning dancer turned actress; Hazel was recognized from a very young age to be born with a talent for dance. She spent a decade performing in numerous ballets and was cast in her first pas de deux as Columbine Doll at the young age of 11. At the age of 12, Hazel was awarded a merit scholarship to attend the prestigious Houston Ballet Company's summer training program. At 13, she received offers to train in the pre-professional ballet programs of San Francisco Ballet, and ABT (American Ballet Theatre). After a serious ballet injury in early 2021, Hazel turned to musical theatre and trains formally in voice. Hazel's specialty is ballet/pointe but can proficiently dance all other styles such as Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Salsa, Merengue and Ballroom.
