PEP Productions is a not-for-profit community theatre company based in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. The Eastern region has a rich and diverse theatrical community, but we believe that some shows are underrepresented within this community. As such, we have set up PEP Productions with a view to presenting shows that may otherwise be overlooked on the local amateur scene.
PEP present musicals, plays, song cycles and variety shows. Our productions are generally more intimate and our budgets are fixed; we like to focus on the creativity and innovation that can be brought to a smaller performance space. We are one of the few Melbourne amateur theatre companies that consistently produce such a variety of theatrical forms, and welcome all performers and creatives through our doors.

AUGUST is PEP’s ‘pitch month’. During the month of August, we seek expressions of interest from individuals who would like to put forward a show for consideration.
