Savoyards Brisbane Musical Theatre

In 1961 a small group of creative local baysiders established Savoyards Musical Comedy Society to provide an opportunity for the community to perform and enjoy Gilbert Sullivan musical productions.

​Since their first production of "The Mikado" (pictured above), Savoyards has continued to produce two major musicals every year, earning the title of Brisbane's longest continuously running community based musical theatre company.

​The company has enjoyed great success while maintaining its family atmosphere and desire to provide a place for local creatives to be involved in the arts.
