WICA's Theatre Season began in 1999 and has grown from three to five productions per season. Our approach is to offer an open door, where anyone with an interest in stagecraft can get involved. Each season we put out a call for programming and in the first year we received 50 proposals from playwrights, actors, and directors. Auditions are open to all and stagecraft workshops are provided to improve skill levels. Volunteers are needed and much appreciated for a variety of positions. Every show is truly a community effort.
WICA's job is to provide the infrastructure to support the arts. Each theatre production consists of eight performances and brings a diversity of thought-provoking classics, modern masterpieces, and proven hits!
