YSCP (York Settlement Community Players) is a thriving and highly regarded amateur theatre group, producing both modern and classical plays in theatre venues across York including: York Theatre Royal Studio; John Cooper Studio Theatre @41 Monkgate; and Friargate Theatre.
We also have 'The Direct Approach' a regular opportunity for aspiring directors to direct new plays of 30-60 minutes for 4-5 characters in a room in a pub, The Eagle and Child, High Petergate. We work regularly at the York Theatre Royal.
