The Tugun Theatre Company was established in 1971 and has been performing originally 3 times a year, and for the past few years has increased to 4 performance a year. The theatre has covered most aspects of entertainment, Namely drama, Music Hall, Comedy, One Act Plays, as well as street theatre. Our actors have even become victims of an air disaster at the local airport. Tugun Theatre has run Children's Theatre Classes and performances over the years, also sound and lighting workshops. Cabaret seating was introduced during the 1980's and encouraged group bookings to great effect, in fact we still entertain the same audiences.
