Ignite the Light Performing Arts’ mission is to create great humans who are great performers. “When you light a path for yourself you will light a path for others… “ At Ignite, we truly believe a fire resides within every student, waiting to be ignited. This is why we strive to inspire our families with meaningful relationships, exploring passionate purpose, and engaging in powerful performances. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment where young artists can become good humans and exceptional performers in a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment where each student can find their own unique voice. Our vision at Ignite the Light Performing Arts is to create an inclusive arts education program that allows young performers to have a safe and professional creative space to develop skills essential to the performing arts and beyond. At ITLPA, we are committed to offering a wide range of programs for students from kindergarten to their freshman year of college. ITLPA is dedicated to providing top-notch vocal training for children and young adults, along with high-quality theater classes and productions. It is our vision to cultivate and empower upstanding, creative, and inspired young artists who work to make the world a better place. Our theme is to “be a good human”. It doesn’t matter if that is on or off the stage, within our four walls or out in our community, we are a family that encourages each other and celebrates all successes. ITLPA is committed to fostering a sense of teamwork. Our student leadership program gives students opportunities for collaboration and encourages them to explore different opportunities within the arts while on their creative journey to find their own voice. ITLPA came to existence in 2024 after a successful 10 years within the walls of Studio Bleu Dance Center. Starting with a handful of students interested in studying the performing arts, we offered a performance class at Studio Bleu. We now have many students coming through our doors each week to study all areas of theatre along with frequent workshops focusing on specific areas of the performing arts like film and television. Our programs include performance opportunities, productions, intensives, workshops and competition troupes all fostering excellence in the performing arts while still keeping our students’ best interests and overall well being at heart. At ITLPA, we strive to keep the drama out of theater and focus on creating great humans who are great performers.
