Our audience is of various social origins and ages. Thus embedded in the west of Walloon Brabant, the Théâtre de la Valette is proving to be an important center of cultural influence that extends far beyond its location. In addition to Walloon Brabant, Namur, Hainaut, but also Brussels bring us new audiences each year eager for discoveries and artistic sensations.
Our productions have greatly exceeded the immediate geographic environment. France of course, but also two major tours in America. In the North as in the South, with own creations, works by Belgian authors. We were thus able to observe the interest in the French language on this immense continent and the positive reception of our simultaneous translation system. All this without neglecting tours in the Cultural Centers of our region, participation in numerous festivals and co-productions, the latest of which "Albert, twelve hours of grace" brought together three theaters as well as the House of Representatives where the play was created a few months ago.
The Valletta Theater is a small business and one can therefore wonder how it is possible to do so much with so little. First a rigorous management where each Euro counts, then a hyper professionalized nucleus and finally a taste for a job well done by relying on high level professional artists and the discovery of talented young people some of whom today have proven themselves in the seventh art. At the center of our approach, Man in the effort of his work and in his dreams of accomplishment.
