THEATRE IS CRUCIAL IN FOSTERING CREATIVE, CONFIDENT, CURIOUS, & CARING STUDENTS! THEATRE EDUCATION: Provides students the opportunity to develop important LIFE SKILLS, and to craft live theatre in a fun, inclusive, safe, and CREATIVE environment. THEATRE EDUCATION: Sparks student's CURIOSITY about the world around them. It gives them an emotional outlet to explore their own thoughts and feelings, and gives them a lens to see themselves reflected positively in the world. THEATRE EDUCATION: Strengthens self-expression, public speaking, and performance skills as students learn to work collaboratively with an ensemble of their peers; giving them CONFIDENCE to use their bodies and voices boldly to create.
THEATRE EDUCATION: Transfers student’s thoughts, beliefs, and experiences from their daily lives, allowing them to build strong and CARING relationships with their peers and teachers.
