Welcome to theatre arts at Oregon State University, a community of artists striving to understand the human experience through the study and production of theatre. Each year, OSU Theatre provides students with a variety of performing arts experiences. Whether it's through acting, writing, directing, or design, OSU students can contribute to a vibrant and creative group with hands-on experience in the arts. It's our mission to help you bring professional, quality theatre to the OSU campus and Corvallis community.
The course requirements for students pursuing a Theatre Arts option are designed with the intention of allowing students and their faculty advisers to devise a program most suited to the student's specific needs and objectives. Students can earn a B.A. in Theatre Arts or a B.S. in Theatre Arts. Graduate students in the program of Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) may choose the Oregon State University Theatre Arts area as one aspect of study within their program. Students will be admitted into this program on a case-by-case basis following a faculty review.
