Whittier Community Theatre has been in operation since 1922, making it one of the oldest non-profit amateur theatres west of the Mississippi. In 1960, the City of Whittier opened the Center Theatre, which is now the home stage of WCT. Whittier Community Theatre presents a four-show season in the attractive, refurbished 396-seat Center Theatre and strives to provide its audiences with quality theatrical productions for nominal prices.
While WCT aims to keep you updated with our current productions, we highly suggest that you visit our website for tickets and box office information and opportunities to become members or donors. You will also find information on auditions and our current season, an archive of every production by Whittier Community Theatre and the Whittier Community Players (our name before becoming WCT), a list of our generous sponsors, and a link to help you get an advertisement for your business in every program printed for our theatre.
