Music City Theatre Collective (The Collective) was created in the summer of 2015 by Curtis Reed and Jenny Norris-Light in their effort to bridge together Professional and Community Theater in Middle Tennessee. It was their goal to create an all-Inclusive company that would partner community theatre talent alongside working professionals, in order to help all local actors flourish and find work. It was their hope that, working collaboratively, The Music City Theatre Collective would provide constant outreach to all local actors, achieve and maintain a flourishing Core Membership, and serve as an educational resource for those seeking to hone their skills and create professional theatre in Nashville.
