Stage Left is a completely student-run, Musical Theater organization at Miami University that produces two musicals each year and play every other year. Bringing in students from all majors, not just Music, Stage Left has earned a sterling reputation for the quality of our shows. Previous shows have included: bare: a pop opera, Cry-Baby, Bend, Tear, and Spindle, First Date, tick…tick…BOOM, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, The Rocky Horror Show, Spring Awakening, Next to Normal, Sweeney Todd, The Drowsy Chaperone, Heathers, Carrie the Musical, and many more!
Stage Left is dedicated to getting students involved. We offer multiple Student-Run workshops including: Hip-Hop, Swing, and other dance workshops, Audition Preparation workshops, Stage Crew Technical workshops, and more.
Our organization allows students to perform on-stage and work backstage and gives them the chance to open up and share their talents with the Miami and Oxford community. Stage Left welcomes people of every background, every major, and every musical level. We strive to get everyone involved and enthusiastic about musical theater!
