Seth Rudetsky is an American actor, writer, musician and radio host. He grew up in North Woodmere, New York and graduated from Ohio's Oberlin College Conservatory of Music in 1988 with a degree in piano performance.
Rudetsky rose to prominence as a comedy writer on The Rosie O'Donnell Show and was thrice nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the show. He has also co-wrote the scripts for the 1999 and 2000 Grammy Award shows, as well creating the opening number for the 1998 and 2000 Tony Awards. Rudetsky current hosts Seth's Big Fat Broadway and Seth Speaks on the radio channel On Broadway.
In November-December 2006 Rudetsky starred in an off-off-Broadway production of Torch Song Trilogy. He then appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of The Ritz the following year. In November 2014, Rudetsky co-wrote and starred in Disaster!. After a three-year run off-Broadway, the show opened at the Nederlander Theater on Broadway in 2016.
