Charles Lederer was an American screenwriter and film director. He won the three Tony Awards in 1954 for his work on the musical Kismet but he was predominantly known for his screenplays, writing/co-writing the scripts for many hit movies, including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Mutiny on the Bounty, and Ocean's Eleven.
