Mark Allen is an American composer, lyricist, songwriter and arranger. In 2009, he was the recipient of the Johnathan Larson grant. Allen is also the recipient of the Frederick Loewe Award and an ASCAP Max Dreyfus Award. Some of his credits include musicals Tinyard Hill, Band Geeks and films A Viking Saga and Dancing Ground. Allen is a frequent collaborator of Tommy Newman.
