Daniel Tobias studied Music Composition at The University of California, Berkeley and The Juilliard School of Music. He's the composer in residence for the Eryc Taylor Dance Company. His debut mystery novel “The Next” was a Lammy Award finalist for Best Mystery of 2015 under the pen name Rafe Haze. He taught Meisner Technique of Acting for ten years at the Bay Area Acting Studio, San Francisco. His play "Be Still Be Silent" was Zoomed in June, 2020, starring Michael Kostroff and Emmy-winner Anna Holbrook. Daniel lives two blocks from Times Square, New York City, with his husband of 21 years.
