Denise Deegan is an English novelist and playwright. She is best known for Olivier Award-winning play Daisy Pulls It Off (1983), which kick started her career. Previously, she had worked as a freelance stage manager. She now writes full time and has had several plays produced around the UK, including The Hiring Fair, No Birds Sing, Transports of Delight, and Ideal Words.
