Neil Bartram is a New York City-based composer and lyricist. Born in the UK and raised in Canada, Bartram is known as one half of the musical theatre team, Bartram and Hill. Along with Brian Hill, Bartram has composed and written the lyrics for Broadway’s The Story of My Life and The Theory of Relativity, which premiered Off-West End in 2015.
Other works of Bartram’s include an English-language musical adaptation of Michel Tremblay’s Les Belles-Soeurs, a musical based on Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes, and the upcoming stage production of Bedknobs & Broomsticks. Bartram is a recipient of the Jonathan Larson Foundation Award, the ASCAP Foundation’s Yellen Award, a Dramatist Guild Fellow, and a Dora Award.
