Craig Pospisil is a writer and filmmaker. He primarily writes comedies and has published nine full-length plays and musicals. Pospisil is a native of New York City and graduated from Wesleyan University and New York University's Dramatic Writing Program. His first full-length play, Somewhere in Between debuted in 1996, followed in 2003 by what became his most popular play, Months on End. In addition to his plays, Pospisil has also written the book for two musicals, Dot Comet and Drift, along with several one-act and short plays that have appeared in several books of collected plays. In 2011, he received the Excellence in Playwriting award from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and has been a finalist for the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Center twice.
