Kim Rosenstock is an American playwright and television writer. Born in Baldwin, Long Island, she graduated from Amherst College and completed her MFA in playwriting at the Yale School of Drama. Her most well-known play, Tigers Be Still, was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award. She also wrote the book for the 2015 musical Fly by Night, which was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. She’s also written Bride Widow Hag as well as commissions for Dallas Theater Center and Roundabout Theater.
In addition to writing for the stage, Rosenstock has also written for episodic television. In 2013, she wrote for the series New Girl and has also written episodes of Single Parents, Glow, and Only Murders in the Building. She resides in Los Angeles and continues to develop new works.
