Josh Cohen

Josh Cohen is a British composer. Cohen grew up in Northwood, Middlesex and studied social science at Edinburgh University. While in Edinburgh, he developed his love for theater, music, and the arts. Cohen attended university with Kate Prince MBE, the founder of ZooNation, a theatrical company known for creating full length narrative dance productions with strong influences from hip hop culture and music. In 2007, Cohen began to work with Prince on a variety of projects. Cohen collaborates frequently with Prince, ZooNation, and musician DJ Walde. His most notable works include Into the Hoods (2008), The Mad Hatters Tea Party (2017), and Sylvia (2023). In addition to composing, Cohen is also a performer and musician, and frequently performs with ZooNation.
