Ben Adams is a British singer, composer, and producer best known for his time in the boy band A1. The four person group won a BRIT Award in 2001 for Best Newcomer and had two number one singles on the UK Singles Chart. Though A1 parted ways in 2002, the band regrouped in 2009 to represent Norway in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and record two new albums, which Adams produced and co-wrote. He has also written and produced songs for artists like Sam Bailey, Markus Feehily, Robin Thicke, and Craig David. Adams has also made appearances on a string of reality TV shows like Celebrity Big Brother and the Norwegian version of Strictly Come Dancing, where he placed second. He has starred in various musical theatre productions such as Cinderella the Panto (Milton Keynes), Aladdin the Panto (Woking), and the Flashdance tour. In 2016, he co-wrote the musical Eugenius which premiered at the London Palladium and in 2023, wrote the music for Police Cops the Musical which opened at the Southwark Theatre.
