Jack Thorne is an English playwright and screenwriter. Together with J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany, he wrote the hugely successful two-part play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which wont the 2018 Tony Award for Best Play. Thorne's playwright credits also include Hope and The Solid Life of Sugar Water, as well as adaptations of A Christmas Carol and Woyzeck.
