David Evans is a writer and composer. He earned a Drama Desk Nomination for Birds of Paradise, and again for Children's Letters to God. Evans has written songs for many Off-Broadway Revues including A My Name is Alice and television shows such as Sesame Street. Beyond composing for musicals, Evans is a conductor and musical director on Broadway. His conducting and musical direction credits include Wicked, Flower Drum Song, and Hello Again.
