Michael Starobin is an award-winning orchestrator and arranger, as well as music director. He won a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize for his orchestrations in Next to Normal (with Tom Kitt), and won a Pulitzer Prize for his orchestrations in Sunday in the Park With George (for which he also won the Drama Desk Award in 1984). Other notable musicals include Once on the Island, Assassins, Dogfight, If/Then, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He has also written for television and done orchestrations on film, especially Disney movies.
