Charles L. Mee is a playwright, historian, and author and teaches playwrighting at Columbia University. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, and has written a memoir called A Nearly Normal Life in which he discusses contracted polio at the age of 14. He graduated from Harvard University and then moved to New York where he began his career in the arts. Charles L. Mee's complete scripts are freely available on his website the (re)making project.
