When things looked the darkest, I stepped in and whipped our crew into shape. Taught them discipline. Taught them to aim their kicks with absolute precision. Drilled them for hours so that even blindfolded, they instinctively know to aim away from the North West fence and kick towards the softball diamond instead. Now, with all that work I’ve done, why would I jeopardize it by allowing some snot nosed brat to come in and kick our precious ball wherever he pleaseth?
