So that’s how it is huh? All of our years of friendship down the drain because I’m in love with a disco girl! All the movies we went to! (turns to Gene) Gene, all the football games we saw together while hackling the other team. Didn’t we have fun? All those baseball games we played against the other neighborhood kids. Didn’t you enjoy those times?
Linda, I’ve always known you liked me more than a friend. And looking at you, I never understood why I didn’t feel the same way. Our connection was so deep as friends, I didn’t want to mess it up. But I always thought you were beautiful and someday a very lucky guy is gonna sweep you off your feet
