Text

At great expense to the Abwher, Arabel received the Iron Cross from the Nazis. Later in secret, Garbo received the MBE from Buckingham Palace, making him the only person to be awarded the highest war honour by both the British and the Germans, while being neither a soldier, nor a citizen of either country!

By August, France is liberated. 50,000 Germans taken prisoner in the Falaise pocket, trying to escape from Calais!

Nine months later, Berlin has fallen. April 28th, Mussolini is killed. Hitler is dead, April 30th. Unconditional surrender May 7th, 1945. The war is over. (CHEERS offstage.)
