Start: Hello… Um. How’s the weather?... Oh. No earthquakes?... Good… Oh, I don’t know if we’ll be able to come way out there.

End: Listen, Ethel and I are coming out to visit, you know. … Oh, yes. In the winter...I’m not bullshitting you… Yes. Me, too. Bye! Adieu, mon vieux. (He hangs up, feeling quite chipper.) I talked to Billy.
