One of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast" brings its enchanting tale and Academy Award-winning score to the Landis Performing Arts Center. Based on the beloved 1991 animated film, this acclaimed musical tells the story of Belle, an intelligent young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who’s really a young prince under the curse of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, then the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out! The Beast must learn his lesson soon, or he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. This musical love story is filled with colorful characters and show-stopping numbers, including “Be Our Guest” and the unforgettable title song. The whole family will be swept away by Performance Riverside’s production of this tale as old as time.
