Context
Ivan is getting ready to propose to Natalya and is terribly nervous. As he begins to tell Natalya how their families have always been such good neighbors, Natalya is taken aback at the fact that Ivan believes his family owns Oxen Meadows. Ivan’s proposal becomes derailed as the two engage in a heated argument about the ownership of Oxen Meadows.
Ivan, who has a heart palpitation and was already feeling ill with nerves of the proposal, becomes more and more overwhelmed as their argument grows.
