Context
Hamlet has followed the Ghost of his father to a private part of the castle. However, he demands that the Ghost speak or Hamlet will go no further. The Ghost reveals that he did not die naturally, but was instead killed by his own brother, Claudius. Claudius has since seized the throne and married Claudius' widow, Gertrude. He demands that Hamlet seek revenge and Hamlet thus decides to feign madness in an attempt to find proof of his Uncle's guilt. Hamlet is shocked and disgusted at the thought
