Claudius has realized that his nephew, Hamlet, knows that Claudius murdered Hamlet's father, the King. He has summoned his two spies, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, to form a plan. Claudius intends to banish Hamlet to England and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are to accompany him. Claudius knows that he is a guilty man, but he cannot fully repent as he still enjoys the fortunes he has gained as a result of his crime.
