MANUEL I should.
ISABEL It doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to art.
MANUEL Maybe it’s something the world shouldn’t see.
ISABEL You don’t believe that.
MANUEL If someone were to discover that art could be dangerous, it would end everything for good.
ISABEL I think you’re afraid to show them what you have.
MANUEL I am not.
ISABEL Then have the viewing here.
MANUEL They would never allow that.
ISABEL Not if you ask for permission.
MANUEL Then no one would show.
