Start:

Jim: I’ve been looking for you. I had to talk to you. I phoned, but you weren’t home.

Judy: I know. They’re looking for you.

Jim: They saw where I jumped. I didn’t chicken. What do I have to do--kill myself?

[... … …]

End:

Jim: Listen! I know a place! Plato showed me. An old deserted mansion near the planetarium. Would you go with me? (Judy hesitates.) You can trust me Judy.

Judy: I feel as if I’m walking under water. (Jim takes her arm and they exit.)
