Context
Electricidad’s sister, Ifigenia, has returned to the house to pay her respects to their dead father. Ifigenia disappeared several months earlier, and Electricidad accuses her of deserting their family. Ifigenia is trying to reform, to get away from the gang life that she and Electricidad were initiated into by their father, and has joined a convent. In this emotional scene, the sisters grieve together, argue bitterly, and finally come to blows as Ifigenia urges Electricidad to let her hatred go
